Earlier Disney teases have hinted that Ahsoka will tie in with the other Star Wars series at Disney+ to (eventually) culminate in a sweeping TV event one that brings their storylines together in the same way that Marvel’s Avengers movies serve as epic finale payoffs for the MCU’s character-based films.
In Star Wars lore, Ahsoka and the younger, pre-Darth Vader incarnation of Anakin Skywalker share a long and complicated history, at one point fighting alongside each other with Ahsoka as Anakin’s Yoda-appointed Jedi Padawan.
Production on Ahsoka, notes THR, will just be getting started in 2022.
